Where are the 1099s located

I'll guide you on how you can access your 1099 form, lisahall01.

Employers will ask for an invitation to employees or contractors to complete a W-9 form. This will gather all the information such as the name, address, TIN, or Social Security number.

After that, you'll receive an email when 1099 is ready for download. You can click the email to sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account or create one if you don't haven't create one yet.

To access or view your 1099-MISCC, you can follow the steps provided below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Clients menu.
  3. Select the Forms tab.

Furthermore, learn from this article what are the available payroll reports that you can view. I've added this article for more information: Run Payroll Reports.

Keep me posted if you have any concerns when viewing the 1099 form. I'll always be right here to help.

I don't know where the Clients menu is on QuickBooks self employed. I do not want to email my client for the PDF form, I really just want to access my 1099.

Thanks for joining the thread, @Rach.

As my colleague had mentioned, you'll have to wait for your employer to submit your 1099-MISC to the IRS. After they've submitted it, you'll receive an email that it's ready for viewing or download. You'll then click the link inside the email you received and then sign into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Refer to this article for more information: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In case you didn't receive any email notification related to 1099s, you'll want to contact your employer. They have the option to give you a copy of your 1099s. You may also check your Spam/Junk folder if the email is there.

Furthermore, I'd recommend checking this article if you have any additional questions related to 1099s: Get answers to your 1099 questions.

I'll be here in the Community space if you need further assistance with this, @Rach. Don't hesitate to leave a comment below. Take care, and have a good one!
