The Desktop view in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) desktop app isn’t available right now because QBO is still developing, so there have been a bunch of changes lately. Let me explain what’s going on.
I know having a Desktop view makes it easier to navigate and helps with recording transactions smoothly. But QuickBooks has removed or turned off the "Desktop View" flowchart button for now. This is intentional and part of a recent update to the desktop app.
They’re doing this to get ready for the new Tango app Fusion rollout, which should be done by the end of the week. The Desktop view will be phased out and replaced by Fusion, an all-in-one platform that’s easier to use.
