Which version of QB Desktop would allow me to do job costing?
Hello,
I need to know what version of QB Desktop would allow me to do job/project costing? The company has two divisions and within the divisions they will have individual projects. I want to be able to allocate income and expenses to a specific job. I would like to pull reports for the specific job and also for each project to roll up into the correct division and view the financials by the division.

All Desktop SKUs from Pro to Enterprise have the job costing features.
From what you're asking, though, you may also need to use the Class tracking feature to split your business into divisions. After allocating transactions, or part of transactions to Classes, you can then run Profit & Loss statements by class. All SKUs also have the Class feature.

Thank you! So I could get the pro split the two divisions using classes and then drill down and have job costs separated out? Could I run a P&L by job or only class?
