why are my invoices not matching correctly with the new paypal connector?

I am also having a terrible time with the connector app. Namely, when I try to match a Payment Received to a sales receipt, it only shows sales receipts from the past. It will not see a sales receipt created on the same day.

 

For example: we have recurring donations, so John Doe has sales receipts on Jan 1 and Feb 1 for $10. However, the Paypal Payment Received on Jan 1 cannot be matched to the Jan 1 sales receipt (it does not show up as an option). However, when I go to the Feb 1 Payment Received, I can see the Jan 1 sales receipt, but not the correct Feb 1 receipt.

 

What is particularly frustrating is that it seems like the other people struggling with this awful app have unique problems! And the phone support told me that it was a Paypal issue. Obviously, it is not. The sales receipt is in QBO, the Paypal transaction is there. The problem is that the app in QBO will not allow me to match to a sales receipt from the same day (!?!?!?). This is pretty typical of the QBO experience.
