Hi there, Michael. I'd like to provide additional information about printing employee summary in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The ability to print your employee summary report is only available in QBO Plus. If you're subscribed to QB Simple Start and Essentials, you'll only be able to run a Payroll Summary report. I'd recommend upgrading to QBO Plus or Advanced for you to take advantage about the features.
Here's how:
- Check out our available pricing plans to see which subscription you'd like.
- Sign in to your QBO account as a primary or company admin.
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Subscription and billing.
- Ensure your payment info is up to date.
- In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
- Review the available plans and then click Choose plan.
- Follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your product.
For the time being, you can run a Payroll Summary report, then export the report as an excel file. You can now then customize the report and add the employee summary.
