Why can’t we update our payment information? It keeps giving us an error message -81819 when I try to tell it to use the updated debit card info I saved to our account.

Also it’s not allowing me to use a bank transfer or PayPal as a payment method. When you go to add a new payment method, those options are visible but you can’t select either.

Let's run some steps to identify why you're unable to update the payment information and unable to select bank transfer or PayPal as a payment method.

 

There are instances issues like this persist when the browser you use has cache-related concerns. That said, update your payment information on a private window.

 

This window does not store any browsing history, thus, helping it load faster without error. You can use these keyboard keys to open one:

 

  • For Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  • For Safari: Shift N

 

If it works, you may continue on a regular browser and clear the cache.

 

You can also switch to a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
