If you mean through bank feeds, where you import the transactions from your bank, the data that's available is up to your bank.  Most banks only make about the last three months available.

What file format can you download from your bank?

BigRedConsulting is right, @ronilvu. QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not store bank statements; you can only download them directly from your bank. Allow me to provide further guidance below.

If you can't access your bank's website, please contact your bank for assistance. Once you have obtained the statements, you can upload them to QBO for further processing.

In QBO, there are reports available that you can review and export to Excel to obtain the specific data needed for your tax deductions.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Navigate to Reports menu.
  2. Search for the report related to your tax deductions.
  3. Export the report to Excel to obtain the specific data for your tax deductions.

Additionally, you usually download the file from your bank. Before you can upload it, you need to make sure the data is in the correct format. You can refer to this article for guidance on the format of the CSV file you received from your bank for uploading transactions to QuickBooks:  Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Moreover, this article explains how to pay and file your federal (941, 944, 943, 940), state, and local taxes if you are set up for electronic payments and filings (e-pay and e-file) in QuickBooks: Pay and file payroll taxes and forms electronically in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Furthermore, it might be beneficial to consult with a qualified accounting professional or reach out to a QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted service. They can review your entries to guarantee the accuracy of your financial records.

If you have any further questions regarding accessing your bank statements, please feel free to Reply to this thread. We are here to help!
