Why do I have pop up ads

I appreciate you coming to the Community with your concern. This isn't the impression I want to leave you with. 

The pop-up notifications are designed to suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks experience. I understand that the ads may affect your navigation. However, the option to disable them permanently is currently unavailable.

You can disregard them by clicking the X icon or the No, thanks! button. This way, QBO will turn off the ads and remember your choice. Thus, the pop-up won't show up again.

If you‘re talking about marketing advertisements that pop-up and other forms of ads on Chrome, you can check out this article for a more detailed instruction. This includes related resources to block certain ads.

Intuit is a marketing company, not really a software company. They do this because they want to sell you stuff. They don't care if you don't want that stuff.

More generic garbage like free to play games on facebook. Its also pop ups in the QBO software not outside pop up ads. IT IS INTUIT shoving more of their trash products down our throats.

I'm calling Bull Sh%t on the QBs money grabbing Monopoly! Pop-up ads off on preferences. Tried pausing the updates.  The "try online version" ads keep coming up. Tech support said repeatedly they would only help with a tech support subscription.

Let's start a class action suit against Intuit for taking over our screen. Most of us paid for updated versions for 20+ years only so we could continue to email invoices. I don't need or want the on line version -  STOP YOUR ABUSIVE POP-ADS NOW!

3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
4. Then select Next to submit feedback.
