Why do I have transactions that need to be reviewed going back to 2018

Good Morning, @allingtonpropert

Congrats on making your first post here in the Community. There could be a few reasons why you have these transactions that need to be reviewed from back in 2018. To ensure that I'm giving you the most accurate advice, are you using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Self-Employed? If you can provide me with some information on this issue, I'll be able to determine the best solution for your business. Examples: (are they duplicates, have you already reviewed these transactions before, etc.)

QuickBooks Self-Employed

In this product, the transactions will always show in the Transactions tab. There isn't a reviewed or categorized section available.

QuickBooks Online

You can always check to make sure that these transactions aren't duplicated by going to the Reviewed/Categorized tab on the banking page. If they aren't, then I recommend looking over these transactions and adding/matching them. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking tab.
  2. Select the Banking portion.
  3. Make sure the bank account you'd like to look at is highlighted in blue.
  4. Click on the For review section, review each transaction.
  5. Once you're ready, press Add or Match in the "Action" column.
  6. Afterward, these transactions will appear in the Reviewed or Categorized portion.

Let me know if this helps. I'll be waiting for your response!
