Why is it that the people I am chatting with decide to quit before they can solve the problem

I experience the same thing - it is very frustrating to say the least!

My response isn't going to provide a resolution but you are not alone in this!

I will say this, they quit because the answer, if any provided, is not specific to our issues but rather a general response to key words in our question (s).

QB defines "expert" differently than the dictionary does.

Yesterday I submitted a post titled 'Not Specified Locations', that alone will explain the frustration we experience.

I've also uploaded it for your review.

Hi, blanca garcia.

I can share additional information about this issue.

The Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Payroll transactions amount can't be split into a different location. This probably the reason why your payment shows Not Specified. Since the option to split a single payment between more than one location is unavailable. If needs to be split, you can divide the payment or deposit based on the location or use a journal entry to record them.

Before doing any changes, I'd suggest reaching out to your accountant to help you out with splitting transactions. If the issue persists, please contact our QuickBooks Support. They'll be able to do screen-sharing in a secure environment to check the root cause of it.

Support hours are Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM PT and Saturday from 6 AM to 3 PM PT.

In addition, you can visit the articles below for more info about customizing and saving what you have customized in QBO:
