Why is the font on checks printing tiny all of a sudden?

I  am using the same laptop, the same browser, and the same printer as 2 days ago when the checks printed normally. I printed something outside of QB and it printed fine. It is only with QB that the font is printing teeny tiny. Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix this? Thanks!!

Why is the font on checks printing tiny all of a sudden?

Hi there, Mimi M.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing troubleshooting steps to ensure you can print the check in QuickBooks Online smoothly.

Sometimes you'll be having trouble printing in QuickBooks Online due to unexpected behavior. Since the font on checks printing is tiny, it could be the font settings aren't set up correctly. I recommend making sure to review the said settings and need to set them up in increased order. You can also adjust the printer scale from the print settings to make it more visible.

Here's how:

  1. Choose a check you want to print.
  2. Press the printer icon beside the cogwheel icon.
  3. Select More settings, then click Custom from the Scale drop-down.
  4. Adjust the number (should be higher than 100).
  5. Make the necessary adjustments.
  6. Hit Print.

If the issue continues to occur, I suggest clicking this article to see various details or common printing issues and how to fix them: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to view steps on how you can set up your print settings correctly so you can print checks in QBO accurately: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch with me if you have further printing concerns. I'll be around whenever you need further assistance, Mimi M. Take care always.
