Workforce Security Questions for W2

So I just finished having to go look up an employee’s W2 in our records. So that she could log in to Workforce to view her W2. Why did I have to do this?

Because in order for her to view her W2 in Workforce, it was asking for her amount in Box 1 from her W2. How is this logical?

Workforce Security Questions for W2

Hello there, Tnslifka.

I'd like to verify if this only happens for a specific employee so I can give the correct steps in isolating the Workforce Security Questions in viewing W-2. It's possible that the browser-related issue caused the unusual response. To verify, you can let your employee view the form using a private browser. They can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Shift N

If it works, go back to a regular browser and clear its cache. Once a cache is piled up, it can be the reason for some unexpected issues on frequently visited sites such as Intuit. They also have the option to use a different browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer.

You can check out this article for more details on how employees can view paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.

Let me know if you need anything else. Take care and have a great day!
