Join nowHi,
I wanted to know if there is a way or possibility that I can place a purchase order with vendors for raw materials based off a customer's estimate/sales order?
Currently, every time we receive a purchase order: I'm having to use a spreadsheet and enter those items from the bills of material against the quantities of the finished good (that the customer ordered) - to determine the total number of assembly items I need to order for a customer project.
Building assemblies only tells me what I can build off of raw materials I have on-hand but I can't seem to find a way where we can just place a purchase order (with vendors) based off a customer's project. OR....is there a way that Quickbooks can let me know how much of each item I should order for a job? A lot of this seems very time consuming as it is right now.
FYI - using Quickbooks Manufacturing & Wholesale Desktop edition 2017

No, QB will not do forecasting like you are asking about
I am not sure, so email the developer and see, but I think ccrqbom will do that kind of thing
