Join nowWhy isn't there a field on this data entry screen for both a check number and a comment/memo?
It's very helpful to document what that payment is for (invoice #, description...).
There is a comment field when processing a credit card payment...why isn't it available for check payments? A check number would also make sense. I've submitted this suggestion many times to no avail.
Thank you, Lisa
Good day, lisa-b-salvatore.
Your willingness to help us improve our products is highly appreciated.
Your time is valuable to us, as well as the ability to have a comment field when processing a credit card for check payments.
I can definitely see how this feature would be useful. As a team with a massive road-map, we have to pick new features based on the value they’ll add to the most users possible.
I can pass along all the feedback you have to the appropriate channels so you're able to reach a point of resolution as quickly as possible.

RoseMarjorie,
I appreciate the sea of enhancement requests that you receive. My frustration is twofold...
1. Checks, by design, have a a number and memo field. It's a no-brainer that users need them.
2. There is already a Comment field available for Charging a Card. The field is shown on the transaction report summary which lumps card and echeck transactions. That column is empty for all the lines associated with echecks. It makes no sense.
I appreciate serious attention being devoted to this sensible request.
Thank you and Happy 2019!
Lisa
Also...it should be noted that the setting for Selecting Echeck Processing as my landing page does not stick. The Charge a Card screen automatically pops up when I log in, despite many efforts to change that.
