Buy nowHi there!
I have a client that I pay out monthly a % of funds to. I'm having trouble figuring out how to pay them through an ACH transfer? I have the quickbooks "Plus" account. Do I add them as a vendor? They don't owe me funds but I owe them. Please help clarify, thank you!

Hello MHamera, I'd like to share some information about recording funds you owe from a vendor/client.
If you're not receiving any funds from this person, you can set him/her up as a vendor. Then, pay them using Online Bill Pay. Here's how:
For more details, I recommend checking these articles:
On the other hand, if you mean to set them up as your client (a person who buys goods or services from your store or business) and want to set them up as a vendor person too (who sell the product to a consumer), you can record a barter transaction. Here's how:
Step 1: Set up the barter bank account.
Step 2: Create an invoice and receive payment.
Step 3: Enter and pay the bill
To make sure you'll be able to follow the complete steps, please check this article: Record a barter transaction.
To pay them using ACH, you can look for another third-party application or do it outside QuickBooks.
Please let me know if you have follow-up questions about recording transactions in the system. I'm always here to help, Marissa. Take care!
Another option, open a separate Melio account for free to integrate with QBO. You can manage and pay your bills with ACH for free.
