Adding Classes to Products and Services

I see you want to add classes to your products and services in bulk action in QuickBooks Online. I've got you! I have the perfect information and guidelines to help you achieve this goal ASAP!

Yes, there is a way you can add a class to all of the products and services in a bulk action in your QBO. As long as you bring over your accountant to your account. Your account only can do these things with ease. With that, I recommend you invite your accountant. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings , then select Manage Users.
  3. Choose the Accountants or Accounting Firms tab.
  4. Enter your accountant’s email address, then pick Invite.

For details like what happens when you invite your accountant, refer to this article: Add accountant users in QuickBooks Online.

Once successfully add your accountant, your accountant may start reclassifying or add classes to your products and services in bulk action in QuickBooks Online.

That's it for now! If you have any further questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. With the help of your accountant, you can easily achieve this goal in QuickBooks Online. Have a great day!

Adding Classes to Products and Services

Thanks for getting back, @schmidtfs.

I'm here to provide insights regarding your concerns about adding a class to all products and services using bulk action in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Currently, the option to add a class at once to all products and services in QuickBooks Online is unavailable. However, you can use a third-party application that is supported by QuickBooks Online for this purpose.

We also have available third-party apps that you can use to integrate with QuickBooks Online. To find these apps, log in to your account and I'll walk you through how:

  1. Go to the Apps tab
  2. Click on Find Apps
  3. Then search for apps using the Search bar or browse them in the Browse Categories dropdown.

You can also access the list of apps directly through this link: QuickBooks Apps Store.

Moreover, I'm adding this article as your reference to learn how to merge duplicate items, remove unused items, or reactivate items also, about the process, you can check out how to set up products and services in QuickBooks Online:

Adding Classes to Products and Services

Do you have a 3rd party app suggestion that can change the assigned class to existing products and services?

Thanks!

Adding Classes to Products and Services

Thanks for getting back to us, @schmidtfs.

Let me help you further find a suitable app for changing classes to Products and Services in bulk in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

While I can’t suggest a specific third-party app, I can suggest a couple of keywords you can type in the Find apps page search field. In the search field, type in the keywords like Inventory or Inventory Management

After this, read the app reviews to assess its features, product quality, and performance. That would help them choose the right one fit for their needs. I've attached a screenshot for visual reference.
