I am looking into getting a business credit card for my business to build credit. If I use the card for specifically fuel and pay it off with the business checking account, how does the payment to the credit card get recorded in QuickBooks to show it was a business expense?
The gas charges that you enter in the credit card account will carry the expenses. The payment on account is recorded as a transfer to the CC account and doesn't include any expenses.
So I would add the credit card to my QuickBooks account along with the debit card? and any transactions made on either, would show as a transaction in QuickBooks?
