You'll need to have a payment processor to receive online payment in QuickBooks Online. If you want to subscribe to QuickBooks payment, you need to have an SSN since this is mandated by the IRS and we use that info for verification purposes. In your case, you can look for a 3rd-party processor that accepts ITIN, as QuickBooks will require you to use an SSN to set up a payment account.
Please note that opening a QuickBooks Payments account requires meeting certain eligibility criteria and undergoing credit and application approval. Intuit Payments Inc., licensed by the New York State Department of Financial Services as a Money Transmitter, provides the money movement services.
In addition to this, once you've successfully setup your QuickBooks Payments, You'll need to connect your account to QBO. Here's how:
