Can you see why check was returned

When a mobile check deposit is returned, it means the check writer's issuing bank notified us that the check couldn't be processed. Because this information involves the check writer's private bank account, our Support team doesn't have visibility into the exact reason on our end.

We always send an email notification if a check is rejected or returned, so please check your inbox for a message from Intuit.

If you need further assistance, the best next step is to contact the check writer to find out what happened. Alternatively, you can try cashing or depositing the physical check at another institution, such as your local bank.

For a full list of accepted check types and more details on this process, you can check out this article: Find out more about mobile check deposit.
