QuickBooks Online can be used for tracking purposes only. However, you can also process customer and vendor payments to speed up your business process with Intuit payment services. That said, QuickBooks will mail a physical check on your behalf if you use QuickBooks Bill Pay when paying your bills.

After that, here's how to schedule a bill payment:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Choose Expenses, then Bills.
  3. Either enter a new bill or pick an existing transaction.
  4. Utilize the Schedule Payment or Save and Schedule Payment option based on the bill type.
  5. You can select the bank account used as the funding source or Add a bank account.
  6. To sync your payment details in QuickBooks, choose the account in your chart of accounts from the Payment account in QuickBooks and click Next.
