Creating a NEW ITEM

 

When creating a NEW ITEM to use when invoicing a customer in qb desktop, what type of expense account and income account should be selected to put an item named web subscription?

 

Which type of item could something like this be - service, non-inventory, or other charge.

Creating a NEW ITEM

Probably use the same sales account as for the other things you sell.

 

The expense account is the account to use when you buy the thing you're selling.

 

The item type could be any of a service, non-inventory, or other charge, depending on the nature of the thing you're selling.
