credit card deposits

Hi there, Monica_Abundes20.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details on how the QuickBooks Payment account works. Then, ensure you can verify if the deposits are deposited to your bank of America checking account by following the steps below.

When you sign up for QuickBooks Payments to process customer payments in QuickBooks, you also link a bank account where the funds will be deposited. Having said that, your deposits will be deposited into your Bank of America checking account if it is linked to your payment account. To verify this. I recommend reviewing what account is linked to your payment account by going to the Deposit accounts section. Then, you can change it if needed.

Here's how if you process payment from QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose Payments from the left menu and go to the Deposit accounts section. Then, you'll be able to see what account is being linked.
  4. Select the Change link if you want to update details or indicate which account you'll use to deposit the payment.

If you aren't using QuickBooks Online, check your account details in the Merchant Service Center or in the QuickBooks product you signed up for your payment account. You can open this article on how to perform the process: Sign up for QuickBooks Payments.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see how QuickBooks Payments deposits work in QuickBooks Online: Common questions about payments deposits in QuickBooks Online.
