I know the importance of the email later checkbox getting unchecked after sending an invoice or converting an estimate to an invoice in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), @RHS LARRY.
After sending an invoice to a customer via email, the Email later box will remain unchecked as it has the invoice has already been sent, and it will not appear in the Send Forms window.
Similar to estimates, when you email it to the customer, the Email later box will also be unchecked. By the time, you convert to an invoice, the email is still unchecked later, it can't be checked automatically since the estimate is unchecked.
As a workaround, you can manually check the invoice if the email later box has been unchecked whenever you email the invoice to your customer.
Also, I suggest sending feedback to our product developers. With this, they can further improve your experience and consider implementing it in future updates.
- Click the Help option.
- Select the Send Feedback Online option.
- Choose the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window displays.
- Enter your feedback suggestion.
- Click the Send Feedback button to submit.
