Got a green dot card and can't get money off it.

If you're referring to downloading the bank transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), you can connect your green dot card to your account.

 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Bank accounts.
  3. Enter the name or URL of your bank in the search box.
  4. Hit Continue. If you've already connected an account before, select Connect another.
  5. Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
  6. Tick Connect securely.

If you still can’t find your green dot card on the list, you can manually import them. Just follow the steps in this article: Import transactions from other sources.

Got a green dot card and can't get money off it.

QuickBooks does not recognize green dot bank or it's affiliate go bank and they never get the bank applied to it's or my account. If i can't get this to work then quickbooks is useless to me.

I'm here to help you set up your Bank Feed for Green Dot Bank and it's affiliate Go Bank. 

 

Let's begin with searching your Bank:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Type in your Bank in the Search Box. If the bank isn't found, then you can hit Request to add your bank. If it's found, then continue with the on-screen instructions.

You can refer to this Community Article if you run into any problems finding your Bank: Connect your Bank.

 

If you submitted a request, then you can manually enter your transactions in the meantime. Please let me know how this goes for you!
