Half of my check batch imports fail with "To access this, sign in again or contact an administrator"

As of 2 weeks ago, when batch importing checks, about half of the checks are imported successfully and the other half fail with the error "To access this, sign in again or contact an administrator.". I am the Primary Admin on the account with full access to everything. I've been doing this for years and never had this problem and half of the checks imported still work. If I view the failed imported checks and submit those again, half of those usually are successful, half fail. After a few cycles of this, all the remaining checks keep failing until I re-import the spreadsheet with the remaining checks that never imported....then the cycle starts again where half import successfully, half fail.

Yes, I have permissions do import checks

Yes, I've cleared cache, tried a different browser, logged out and back in, and tried the "desktop" QBO app

Yes, I'm importing the checks correctly.

It's 100% a QBO bug because it just started 2 weeks ago and still now, half of the checks are successfully and if I keep doing this silly loop, eventually they all go through.

P.S.  This new policy of only being able to get support from the community or by scheduling an appointment with QBO is ABSURD!  You think people have time to have meetings with you guys just to tell you about bugs with your own service?  Ha, get real!  It's simply outrageous and must change.  It's unacceptable.

This is not the experience we wanted you to have with batch importing your checks, Gafana.

We appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue (e.g., clearing your cache, using a different browser, and signing back into your account). What I'd like you to be aware of is that, if your checks are contained in a CSV file, you can only import spreadsheets with fewer than 1,000 rows. If your spreadsheet exceeds this limit, we suggest splitting it into smaller files and importing them separately.

To learn more about other file formats you can use to import data into QuickBooks, check out this article: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

If your CSV file contains fewer than 1,000 rows and you still have issues, I recommend contacting our Live Support team so they can look into this matter. Here's how to reach our support team:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon.
  2. Enter "Live Support" in the Assistant tab, then briefly describe your concern.
  3. Choose either Contact an expert or I still need an expert option.

To connect successfully, check the Support hours section in this article: Get help with QuickBooks products and services.

If you have any other concerns, don't hesitate to leave a comment.
