How can my customer make a 1-time credit card payment?

QuickBooks Online allows customers to make one-time payments by activating QuickBooks Payments, Bren. 

 

This enables you to include a Pay Now button on the invoice, allowing your customers to conveniently pay using a credit card.

 

 

Here's how to turn it on:  

 

  1.  Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Go to Account and settings
  3. On the Payments tab, click Activate payments.    

 

Once done, set up the option to accept credit card payments. Here's how:  

 

  1. Click on the Gear icon.  
  2. Go to Account and settings
  3. Go to the Sales tab. 
  4. In the Invoice payment section, click the Pencil icon. 
  5. Tick the Accept Credit Cards box. 
  6. Click Save, then Done.    

 

Lastly, create an invoice and send it to your customer, so they can pay using a credit card.
