When you say you no longer have access to your invoices, could you clarify whether your permissions have changed or if the Invoice option is missing from the + Create and Sales & Get Paid menus? If your company has recently implemented new restrictions on accessing certain areas in QuickBooks Online (QBO), this could be the reason you’re unable to view your invoices. We recommend reaching out to your company admin to update your role so you can regain your access to sales transactions.

 

To manage your permissions, share these steps with the administrator:

 

  1. Go to Settings or the Gear icon and choose Manage users.
  2. Find your name and hit Edit in the Action column.
  3. Change the role from the Roles dropdown. Pick the account management settings they want you to manage.
  4. Select Save changes

 

Right after, sign out and then log back into QBO to see the updates. 

 

If your role settings are correct or have already been updated, but the issue persists, you can refresh your browser. This helps ensure you're accessing the most updated version of QuickBooks and can resolve potential issues. You can also consider using other supported browsers to resolve this.
