I have 2 connections to the same paypal account in Quickbooks, one under GBP and one under USD. The US account is pulling in all USD The UK is pulling both w/usd = GBP

I have 2 connections to the same paypal account in Quickbooks, one under GBP and one under USD. The US account is pulling in all USD transactions usccessfully and no GBP transactions/ The UK is pulling both USD and GBP transactions and all the US transactions are showing as GBP resulting in duplicate transactions and wrong currency on most transactions/ How do I either. A. Allow the UK account to only pull in GBP transactions like the usd connection is or B. Delete the account and every transaction in the GBP account and manually import the GBP transactions via csv? Thank you

Hi @JNT6689FU.

 

I can see that you're trying to see the GBP account currency to show as it is. Since we're using multi-currency in QuickBooks Online, we're unable to turn off the conversion figure USD = GBP.

 

That said, allowing the UK account to only pull in GBP transactions like the USD connection isn't possible or importing the CSV file won't remove the USD = GBP conversion figure. Here's how you can add transactions in a foreign currency.

You may need a 3rd party app to reconcile PayPal multicurrency transactions into QBO and avoid any duplication.
