I'll show you how to edit the PayPal bank account balance, GGrand.
You can edit it through the View register for the account if an opening balance for one of your accounts is wrong. Let me show you how:
We can also verify the selected Number format settings.
Once everything looks as expected, we can go back to your bank feeds and categorize your transactions. Then, you might want to reconcile the account.

Hi Catherine,
Thanks a lot for your help on this matter!
I tried what you suggest (option 1 in the View Register), but I am facing the fact that QBO is asking me if I am sure I want to make this change, as my transaction has been reconciled (and it could put me out of balance).
I don't get it, as I've never reconciled anything with Paypal because I just connected it to QBO...
Should I proceed anyway ?
Hello there and thank you for the screenshot, GGrand,
QuickBooks Online will verify the changes since the opening balance is showing as "R". It means the entry is already reconciled.
Since you have just connected PayPal, click the "R" status until its blank. Then, click Save to record the changes.
I've added these handy articles for additional information when connecting PayPal to QuickBooks:

Thanks a lot MaryLandT for your help!
One last 2 questions:
=> the Paypal balance and transaction in QBO appear in $ but my main currency on my Paypal account is €.
Is there a way to make it accurate in QBO? (My multicurrencies support is already active in QBO).
=> How do I categorize a transaction with paypal where I ask a client to pay? It appears in BQO sometimes as an Opening Balance Equity and sometimes as a Sales. But this transaction is not the sale, it is just me sending a message to the client, asking him by Paypal to pay an amount...
Thanks for your lights !
Thanks for your prompt response, @GGrand.
I'd be happy to share some information about the ability of the Connect to PayPal app to support multi-currency.
At this time, the Connect to PayPal app is unable to support multi-currency. You can look for third-party applications that could maintain multi-currency transactions.
Also, I'd suggest consulting an accountant to help you categorize the transaction with PayPal.
