While using the receipt snap feature...
As I process the uploaded receipts in my desktop terminal ... during the second step of the process....
Is it possible to set the software to recognize the credit card number and auto fill the account window?
It captures the date and the amount and guesses relatively accurately the expense category....
What can I do to make it recognize the account of payment numbers?????
Thanks for taking the time to get back here, r-shane-456-gmai.
The Receipts feature is unable to recognize credit card numbers, government identifier, or health information because it is not intended for the transmission or storage of sensitive information.
You'll want to select the Bank/Credit account manually when adding your receipts.

This is a BS answer. QBO does identify which credit card was used on a receipt snap. I have two credit cards linked to QBO. My Amex card is autofilled in the account dropdown upon receipt snap but my master card isn't. How do we configure the app to identify credit cards on recipt snaps? <-- Please just answer this question instead of giving typical useless response of how to snap a receipt in QBO.
I know how important to recognize the credit card in the snap receipt in the QuickBooks mobile app, @userhudthudson. Let me share some information about this matter.
Please know that QuickBooks can't extract or recognize all information in the receipt, which includes the card information. Thus, you can't configure the app to recognize the credit card on the receipt automatically. However, you can manually select the credit card in the Payment Account section of the snap receipt and enter other missing details before creating an expense. Before doing so, you'll need to have the credit card information recorded in QuickBooks Online. It's to ensure that the account you choose is similar to the information shown on the receipt.
After you upload the receipt in the app, you can now review, edit, and match it to the existing transactions in QuickBooks. Here's how:
Moreover, you can manage expenses in QuickBooks Online, where you can record, edit, or delete them easily.
