Hey there, Sunrock. I'm here to assist you in updating your bank account in QuickBooks Bill Pay, follow the steps below and you'll be ready to get back on track.

Here's how:

  1. After creating a bill and opting for Scheduled Payments, you can either add a new bank account or update an existing one for payment.
  2. Navigate to Select Account if you wish to add a bank account.

  • If you're updating an existing account with a new one, click on Change Account.
  • To add a new bank account:

  1. Find and select your bank.
  2. Enter your Account's user ID and password, and we'll connect it immediately.

  • If you prefer to input your bank account information manually:

  1. Click on Enter account info manually.
  2. Fill in your bank details and click Continue.
  3. Within the next three business days, two minimal deposits will be made to your Account. These amounts will appear in your regular bank transactions.
  4. Monitor your bank account for the two small deposits from Intuit. Once you spot these deposits in your account, proceed to schedule a payment for the relevant bill.
  5. The bank name and account number will be displayed, click on Verify this Account to proceed.

I had tried that several times before seeing your comment, but I did follow your instructions and had the came result. Basically I BillPay out of account B (new ck account) and the money does come out of that account at the bank. At the same time in QuickBooks that transaction records in account A (old ck account). When I finally got thru to the resolution desk and explained my problem, I was told that there was no fix for this problem. They  were able to fix this issue in payroll by remapping to the new account, but this was not possible in BillPay. After thinking about this, I called support again to ask if I cancelled BillPay and then resubscribed could I set it up to the new account. I got a non answer. I was pushed to convert to online from desktop in 2023, worst thing I ever did. One problem after another, now the answer is to make a journal entry to make an adjustment in the accounts, just another job. I'm ready to give up on Quickbooks.
