The Payment in review status in QuickBooks Online (QBO) indicates that QuickBooks Payments is currently reviewing the transaction before releasing the funds to your bank account. This is a standard security and compliance procedure, which may cause a temporary delay in the deposit.
If you're new to QuickBooks Payments, please note that your initial payments may take longer to process (up to five business days) while we set up and verify your merchant account. Once this setup is complete, future payments will be deposited within two business days. However, please be aware that some banks may take longer to process transactions.
For more information on deposit schedules and how to check the status of your deposits, please refer to this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
