Is QB Payments a PCI SSC Validated Product and Solution or an approved Third-party Service Provider? Where in my QB Payments Terms & Conditions is PCI compliance?

I'm completing the PCI DSS Self-Assessment Questionnaire A. I haven't been able to find QuickBooks Payments on any of the 'approved' lists for PCI compliant services which is making it hard to complete Part 2 of the SAQ-A.

Yes, Jill. Intuit and its products are listed on the PCI Security Standards Council website as compliant.

To view the QuickBooks Payments Terms & Conditions, please see the steps below:

  1. Go to this website QBO Terms of Service for QuickBooks - US.
  2. Scroll down to the Product Specific Terms section and select N. QuickBooks Payments under Services
  3. Review the agreement in the Compliance with Law, Card Network, and NACHA Rules section.

For more details on QuickBooks Payments' PCI Compliance, please visit the Intuit QuickBooks Payments - Additional Information page.

Thank you, Louise. I do understand that QB is compliant, but can you point out where on PCI's website QuickBooks Online and/or Payments is listed? I have only found QB Desktop, Point of Sale, and Cash Register Plus Payments under their Validated Payment Applications.

The steps and link shared by my colleague above will lead you to the QuickBooks Online Terms of Service page, where QuickBooks Payments is listed and directs you to the PCI website, @jill104.

To find information about PCI and related terms, navigate to the Product Specific Terms section. Then, look for section N. QuickBooks Payments, where you’ll find details about Compliance with Law, Card Network, and NACHA Rules, along with a link to review the agreements and see additional terms and legal documents for the PCI.
