Let your customers pay invoices by ACH bank payment with a convenience fee

I got an email notification on the subject, "Product update: Option to pay online on invoices with payments turned off" with a link to an article called, "Let your customers pay invoices by ACH bank payment with a convenience fee" but the content is only for QuickBooks Online (QBO).  Is this new option also available in QuickBooks Desktop (QBD)?  If so, where can I find the instructions?  Alternatively, is there another way to pass fees on to the Customer?

If you use Quickbooks Merchant Services then Yes this is an option.  In the customer profile,  under Payment settings, you can choose to let this customer pay by credit card or ACH. If you email the invoice there will be a link for them to pay now.  If you take payment in person or over the phone, go to receive payments and choose echeck.  A window will then pop up to walk you through accepting an echeck which is the same as ACH.
