Links to Credit Card Processing not working in a particular company file

Hello.  I have recently been looking into turning on the credit card processing feature in my 2021 desktop version.  Unfortunately, every link connected to that feature doesn't work.  When I click on any link on the home page absolutely nothing happens.  When I go to customers/link payment service to company file I get an error message that doesn't give a code, it simply says that this doesn't work, please try again later.  I know it's not the connection between my program and the internet, because other functions work (as in signing up for payroll services).  Also, it seems to be related to my company file, because I have no trouble with a different company file stored on the same computer.  I have tried to repair the file and the internet connection with the quickbooks tool hub with no success.

Hello there, bjd90. I can see that's this is the only company got an issue.

 

You may need to configure your Internet Explorer settings correctly in QuickBooks Desktop. Also, you may also need to configure your firewall or security software to allow QuickBooks access to your internet when linking your Payments account. You can check these articles for more details:
