Hi all,
We're a small business with employees out in the field. We'd like to move away from carbon copy work orders and move towards a more digital workflow. However we know some customer will still want receipts. We're looking for suggestions on compact Bluetooth receipt printing devices. Doesn't really matter if your solution is "QBpayments" compatible. Just looking to see what others are doing. Thank you.
Hello there, AndrewN1.
We have the GoPayment app which you can take payments at your business or on the go. If you have a Bluetooth card reader, it's even easier to process payments. However, it only marks an invoice as paid and we're unable to print a receipt of the payment. You can look for a third-party portable Bluetooth receipt printer and check its compatibility with QuickBooks.
Meantime, you can send the paid invoice to your clients, or create a statement and send it to them.
For QuickBooks GoPayments, you can check out these articles on how to set it up and its functionality:

Be careful. Their app does not communicate any print dialog beyond the test print to the printer. I think this app was cobbled together for a Friday afternoon deadline.
The printer is just a paperweight. It does not receive any dialog from the app.
