Account Updater is a feature that enables stored cards to be sent securely to Visa and MasterCard to request updates. If the card issuing bank is a participant, they will respond with the updated card number and/or expiration date.
Starting in October 2019, we are partnering with Visa and MasterCard to automatically update stored payments cards that are set to expire in the next month.
The benefit is that customers won’t experience any delays in products/services due to expired credentials and merchants can focus on running their business – it’s truly a win-win situation!
