Other Options for Bookkeeping

Can anyone recommend another payment option that is NOT Intuit QB? Intuit is "holding" my funds, holding my business's money, claiming they are "delayed." This is after two weeks of verifying my accounts and having everything run smoothly for a few days. The week prior, they were denying payment from my clients, but this time, they have gone one step further - they are holding my funds. Intuit QB attached a QB checking account to my self-employed account, which forced me to open a new account. NiGHTMARE.

Hello there, Emroeser. I would feel the same way if I were in the same situation. I can route you to our designated support to further check why your funds are on hold.

In the event of a delay or hold on your deposit, we assure you that this does not necessarily indicate any issues with the transaction. Instead, it means that we need to review the payment thoroughly. You'll get an email at the email address you used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center. It contains specific instructions on how to resolve the issue. Usually, we ask for more info so we can complete our review.

For more information, refer to this article: Why are my funds on hold?

Furthermore, to guide you in fixing your on-hold deposit, I recommend contacting our payment support. Our representative can pull your account, which is beyond the scope of what can be done here in the Community space.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Hover to the Search tab, then click Contact Us.
  3. Type in a short description of your issue and concern in the box provided.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select the Chat or Callback option.

You can contact us from Mondays to Fridays, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.

For future reference, you can check the deposit speed for your product to learn when QuickBooks Payments deposits your customer's payments.

I'm still here whenever you need assistance and clarifications with QuickBooks-related concerns. Comment below to enter your queries.

Thank you for your reply, but I have already pursued all of this, and the usual answer is very similar to yours, which was used when they were declining payments with the exact same clients. And review the payment for what? This is simply holding my funds, over $10,000. I am so tired of the hours I need to spend working on this and being told I have to wait another 24 hours for MY business's funds that Intuit is holding. Last week, they were declining payments for no reason. There is no valid reason, so I am seeking advice on other bookkeeping entities that are better and less frustrating than Intuit QB. Looking over the comments similar to what I am going through, this has been an ongoing issue with QB. Sorry, I can't run a business and watch over QB to ensure they are always doing their work.

@Emroeser

Do you only need to find a 3rd party payment processor to replace QB Payment or else?
