Pay a large bill over time

Hello QuickBooks Q&A,

Please help with a question:

Intuit recently announced it was increasing the cost of registered agent services by 30%. At the same time, Intuit offered current customers the opportunity to pay far in advance at the current rate of $99. I paid for five years in advance. 99 x 5 = 495. However, this puts an outsized expense on my tiny business.

Is there a way to spread this "Professional Fee" out over five years? Maybe do something similar to the way I'm depreciating my equipment (computer) over five years.

Thank you for your help,

Steve F.
