QB Mac 2016 Still Crashing under macOS Mojave 10.14 -- Anyone?

The recently released macOS Mojave should be compatible with your QuickBooks Mac 2016 version. You'll only need to make sure you're able to download the latest R29 release patch.

QuickBooks Support Team has released this update to fix software crashes and enhance the stability of QuickBooks edition. Here's how you can install the update:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks Desktop menu.
  2. Choose Check for QuickBooks Updates.
  3. If a newer version is available, click on Install Update.
  4. When prompted, click Install and Relaunch.
  5. Once the update is complete, your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac will automatically open.

However, QuickBooks Support, Online Backup, Online Banking, and other services through Hosted QuickBooks Desktop 2016 software, will be discontinued after May 31, 2019. This also means you'll no longer receive critical security updates starting June 1, 2019.

Adrian
