Quickbook Desktop -- Payments to Suppliers

I'm glad you considered paying your suppliers by ACH via QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), thillda. Let me guide you so you can easily manage your cash flow.

All QBDT 2022 and later versions of Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Premier Accountant, Enterprise, and Enterprise Accountant, as well as the 2023 and later versions, allow you to pay your bills online. You can do this directly from the program with your bank account, debit, or credit card. Kindly refer to the steps below.

First, let's enter a bill (if you haven't created one) to utilize the Bill pay service feature:

  1. Go to the Vendors menu.
  2. Select Enter bills.
  3. Enter the necessary info to complete the transaction.
  4. Once done, click Schedule Online Payment.

If you've already created a bill, you can follow these steps to use pay via ACH:

  1. Select Pay bills from your homepage or Vendors.
  2. Choose the bill you want to pay.
  3. From Methods, select Schedule Online Payment.
  4. Then, hit Pay Selected Bills.

Please note that when paying your first bill, you'll need to provide a one-time consent so you don’t need to enter the details again for future transactions.

Kindly refer to this article containing detailed instructions on paying your first bill, bill payment, and status in QBDT:

Finally, to help you manage expenses and accounts payable, you can refer to this article about personalizing vendor reports to meet specific accounting needs in QBDT: Customizing Vendor Report.

Tag me if you have additional concerns about paying your vendors or any other questions in QBDT. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Take care!
