Quickbooks Bill Pay by Bill.com Not Working

I keep trying to set up Bill Pay by Bill.com and get to the attached page but when I click "get started" I keep getting the following error message (two days in a row).

"Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online isn't working right now. We're on it; please try again soon."

 

Is there anything I need to do to fix this? Is there a general problem with the service and if so is there an ETA on when this will be fixed?

 

I've seen other pages talk about going on a private browers or clearing my cache, but both do not resolve the issue.

Another option, signup for a Melio account for free to integrate with QBO.

Quickbooks Bill Pay by Bill.com Not Working

I have opened case 3780593 regarding this issue around 8/16.  When I spoke to someone on 8/18 they stated it is being worked on and no timeframe for resolution is available.  My question is why aren't the changes being rolled back?!

We are unable to pay our vendors since last week.  4 days of not being able to pay vendors is totally unacceptable

Quickbooks Bill Pay by Bill.com Not Working

Since 8/11, I am forwarded to Bill.com from "Pay Bills" in QBO, and I am asked to change my password.   Since Bill.com had been synched with QBO, I assume that my QBO password is the same as my current Bill.com password.    However, Bill.com does not recognize my QBO password and no one at Bill.com is able to help.   

 

This is causing our company enormous problems!

What I had to do was disconnect Bill.com from QBO, then choose forget password in Bill.com.  Once that was done reconnect Bill.com to QBO.  Now I am able to pay my vendors through Bill.com, but still not QBO

The steps you've performed to resolve the password issue are helpful, Rpeace122. I suggest following the steps shared to fix the login problem, tombirch.

 

Then, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have tools to access your account and investigate why Bill.com isn't working in QuickBooks. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the Send icon.
  4. Click on I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. You can either select Chat with us or Have us call you.

 

Additionally, you can apply vendor credits using Bill pay . Doing so helps you maintain accurate financial records by properly accounting for any refunds owed to your business by vendors.

Quickbooks Bill Pay by Bill.com Not Working

I spoke to QuickBooks Support Team today and they could not assist at all.  I received the same message that Bill.com support told me.  Basically write a paper check until this is resolved.  This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.  How can Quickbooks or Bill.com not allow clients to pay vendors for over a week.  It feels to me that Bill.com is treating QBO clients like a second class citizen and QBO is not supporting us.  This should be escalated to a Priority 1/critical issue and should have been fixed by now.  The changes should have been rolled back once it became an issue or remediated.  

Was no testing done by QBO before they allowed Bill.com to roll this out???!!!

Again no support from QBO!

It may be time to move on....
