Any time that I am creating a statement in Quickbooks for Mac 2023, it crashes. I cannot print statements, or email them.
I will work about once every 12 times I create a statement
Is there a fix for this?

Hello there, @salesAPS. I got here a set of steps that will help you prevent your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac from crashing when creating statements.
Let's first restart your computer to give it a fresh start. Once done, ensure that your QBDT for Mac program is updated to the latest release. This helps you keep the newest components and bug fixes.
When finished, create a statement and verify if the program will crash again. If the same thing happens, let's run the Verify utility to determine if there’s any data that needs fixing. If you found one, we can fix it using the Rebuild tool. Here's how:
However, if this does not work, let's now run your computer in Safe Boot mode to figure out if there’s a conflict between QBDT and something installed on your computer. Let me guide you on how:
If you still experience the same thing, you can follow Solutions 5 to 6 of this article: Troubleshoot Crash Catcher.
Once everything is fine, you're ready to create, print, and email statements.
I also added this helpful resource that you can use as a guide in case you need to process customer payments online: Turn on online payments in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
I'll be here ready to lend a hand if you have other concerns accessing your QBDT Mac program. Please don't hesitate to leave a reply below. Stay safe.
I'm having a similar problem in Quickbooks for Mac 2022 R11.1. I wonder if it's related. It only occurs when I have "Allow Online Payments" checked in the create statement dialog box. If I don't create an online-payable statement, the application does not crash. Does your situation/bug depend on whether the statement is payable online or not?
Hi there, @jluros.
I appreciate you for joining this thread and letting us know about your experience in creating statements in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac. This helps me examine the strange behavior when creating statements.
To sort out this matter, we can perform certain troubleshooting steps the same as my colleague suggested above. These fixes verify and correct your company file's most typical data errors. Please make sure your QuickBooks Desktop is up to date as well.

Run the Verify/Rebuild Data utility. Did you encounter any error message?
Of course I tried the verify data functionality before I posted here. That’s the first thing I did. I’m almost positive this is a bug in QB 2022 R11.1, not an issue in my company file. This issue doesn’t occur in R10.3.
Are you able to generate an online payable statement without the application crashing on 2022 R11.1?
Install the trial version of QB Desktop 2023. Did you encounter the same problem?
I can see how hard you tried here. No worries, I'll make it up to you to ensure you never have to deal with this again, jasonluros.
We appreciate you for performing the steps provided by my colleague. To better isolate the issue, Run your computer in Safe Boot mode. This will help determine if there's a conflict between QuickBooks and something installed on your computer. Here's how:
If your QuickBooks continues to quit or stop working, I recommend following the solution in this article: Troubleshoot Crash Catcher. Then perform Solutions 5. up to 6.
Once everything is fine, you can start creating and emailing statements to your customers. I also added a link that will aid users on how to manage billing statements, handle undercharges or overcharges, and apply a discount to name a few: Billing statement hub in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

I installed the trial version of QB 2023 (22.0.5.734 R6.2) as you suggested, and the same thing happened. The application crashed when I generated a payable statement. It does generate the statement and the email, but when it updates the QB application after that completes, it immediately crashes.
Possibly, it may be something that the QB Payments system is passing back to the QB Desktop application. However, this doesn't cause a crash in QB 2022 R10.3 with the same Company file
