QuickBooks Payments-Bank

I have a payment that is sitting in undeposited funds from 4/9/24 that still has not posted to our Bank account. I don't understand why it hasn't cleared or if it was truly even processed through. Please help and direct me to where I can verify.

Hi there, Chavarin. 

 

Let's team up so you can accurately process your payments and clear out the remittances in your Undeposited Funds account. 

 

If you use QuickBooks Payments, QuickBooks automatically records those bank deposits for you. We'll process your first set of payments within five business days. These early deposits take a bit longer while we set up your account. To verify its status, you can refer to Step 2: Check the status of deposits and specific customer payments on this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments

 

However, if you have manually processed this payment, please know that the main reason why your funds are in the Undeposited account is that QuickBooks Payment used this account as a default one to store the Merchant Services transactions. To correct this, we can create a bank deposit and match it to your downloaded transaction to balance your accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

Afterward, we can reconcile to ensure your accounts match your bank and credit card statements.
