Entering bills manually under expenses.  How do I record a partial payment for an existing bill

Let me assist you in creating a partial payment for an existing bill, Carmeni.
 

After recording a bill, QuickBooks Online (QBO) can help you record partial payments for it manually. Here's how to do it. I've also attached some screenshots for reference:

 

  1. From the left side menu, select Expenses.
  2. Select Bills, then click Pay Bills.
  3. Select the bill to be paid.
  4. Enter the partial amount under the Payment column.
  5. Click Save.

After this, we can check for the added partial payments for each bill by clicking Show Payments on the dropdown button:
