Multicurrency

I'm happy to assist you @wineguyatl. I'll teach you how to create a vendor in QuickBooks Online that uses several currencies.

First, let's turn on the Multicurrency option, so QuickBooks will let you set up vendors with different currencies.

Here's how:

1. Select Accounts and Settings from the Gear icon.

2. Click Advance the go to the Currency section.

3. Tick Off button to turn it on check the tick box for I understand I cannot undo Multicurrency.

4. Hit Save and Done.

We're unable to edit the currency of a foreign vendor when you initiate a transaction. I'd recommend deactivating that vendor first. After that, re-add them so you may assign their proper currency.

For a visual reference, see the screenshot below. You'll be able to enter a transaction for them this way. It assists you in ensuring that their QuickBooks Online balances are correct (QBO).

Repeat the steps above for the other vendor you'd like to add. Please keep in mind that you can use alphanumeric characters in the vendor's name to quickly identify their currency. See Screenshot for your reference:

In addition, I encourage that you go to this website: Multicurrency Overview. It goes into the impact of using the Multicurrency functionality on your company's finances and balances in great detail. It also includes connections to resources that can help you learn more about QBO's features.

If you need anything else, I'm only a click away. Have a great rest of your day, @wineguyatl.
