Join nowSince the invoicing for QBSE is absolutely atrocious (no automatic sales tax option), and there are little to no integrations for outside apps (in comparison to QBO) and I need QBSE functionality for separating personal and business expenses as well as the auto mileage tracking. I am looking elsewhere for CRM and invoicing without breaking the bank. If I find one, what are my options for showing the income from these transactions? Or do I need to suck it up and just use the manual sales tax line?

Once you find the right app that you can integrate with QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can add the transactions in the program manually by creating a separate line item. Then, enter the amount for the sales tax.
