I'd be glad to help you with matching your deposit and sales receipt in QuickBooks Online.
To match your deposit and sales receipt in QuickBooks, you can create an invoice and receive the payment twice. One payment for cash and one for a check, and deposit them to Undeposited Funds.
For cash:
Check payment:
Once done, you can record a bank deposit for both payments. See the sample screenshot.
After that, you can match them to your sales receipt.
