Can I put people on reoccurring monthly subscriptions with the online app? If I want someone to be on the subscription last three months or four months or 12 months etc., can I customize how long their charge before it ends?

Thanks for getting in touch with us. I want to make sure your concern is addressed accordingly, I just need more details about your subscription.

 

May I know what product are you currently using? Are you referring to your clients acquiring a separate subscription? Any details you can provide is extremely helpful to narrow things down.

 

In the meantime, if you're using QuickBooks Online under an annual plan, you have the option to switch to monthly billing. Please note that the option to change the billing cycle won't show until within 30 days from your annual billing date. And, to be eligible for refund, your annual subscription also must be within 60 days from purchase date.

 

Here's how to change your billing cycle:

  1. Go to qbo.intuit.com.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  3. Choose Account and Settings (or Company Settings).
  4. Select Billing and Subscription.
  5. In the Plan details section, select Switch to monthly billing.
  6. Select Switch, then Done.

Once done, you'll receive an email confirming your switch and detailing the charge. Also, there isn't an automation in QBO to customize the duration of your monthly subscription. All you need to do is to manually cancel the account if you no longer need it. You may find these articles helpful:
