Join nowHi, I have QBD premier professional services edition 2021.
I am trying to create a progress invoice that subtotals several columns. Some of the columns are behaving as expected, others are not. In this progress invoice everything is billed out to 100% (see total % column). You will see the following results:
1) The subtotal for proposal amount is correct (just adds the column)
2) the sub total for current amount is also correct (again simply adding the column),
3) the subtotal for current % is also correct (in this case dividing current amount by proposal amount)
4) the subtotal for prior amount is MISSING, as is prior %
5) the subtotal for total % is WRONG
So, how do I fix it?
I've got some information to share with you about subtotals on a progress invoice, @jmuratore.
If a portion of the estimate has already been invoiced, data will appear in the Prior amount column. This means that if it's the second or second invoice, you'll only see amounts in that column.
In case you're still unable to see the amounts for second or succeeding transactions, I recommend our Customer Support team. They can investigate this further to see what's causing the problem.
To do that, follow these steps:

Thanks,
As you can see, the previous billed column is correctly populating. It's only the subtotal of that column that is not calculating.
Thanks for getting back to us, @jmuratore.
I have additional steps we can try. You'll want to run our QuickBooks File Doctor tool. This tool help fix program issues including progress invoicing.
After running the tool, restart your computer and then check the sub-total column again. For details about the tools, check out this guide: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.
I'm also adding this link here to help you manage customer-related tasks. It has our general customer topics with articles: Sales and customers.
